Biography

Background & Journey

I am a PhD researcher in Artificial Intelligence at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), supervised by Prof. Lei Chen and Prof. Jia Li. My research focuses on visual intelligence, particularly segmentation foundation models, panoramic scene understanding, and multimodal perception.

Before beginning my PhD, I was a Research Assistant and Research Intern at HKUST(GZ), working with Prof. Lin Wang on multimodal fusion, nighttime RGB–thermal semantic segmentation, and event-based vision. I received my MSc in High Performance Computing from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 and my BEng (Hons) in Computer Science and Technology from Xiamen University Malaysia in 2021.

I welcome research discussions and collaborations in panoramic vision, multimodal learning, and foundation-model segmentation.
